Verba R. Peculiarities of the course of acute peritonitis in the setting of hypothyroidism in experiment

The dissertation presents the analysis of peculiarities of the course of acute widespread peritonitis secondary to merkazolil-induced hypothyroidism and the effectiveness of the use of cord blood stem cells for its correction. The peculiarities of the state of cellular and humoral immunity in experimental animals with acute peritonitis in the setting of hypothyroidism have been established. The peculiarities of lipid peroxidation processes and the state of antioxidant system in rats with acute fecal peritonitis in the setting of hypothyroidism have been revealed. The degree of endogenous intoxication in conditions of acute experimental peritonitis with underlying hypothyroidism has been established. On the basis of an integrated assessment of the main components of pathogenesis of dysfunction of immune processes, lipid peroxidation, endogenous intoxication in experimental animals with acute peritonitis with underlying hypothyroidism, new approaches to their correction using stem cells of cord blood have been proposed.
