Essay

A complex philosophical analysis of the views of I. Mirchuk on the specifics of Ukrainian philosophical thought in the general Slavic context was carried out in this dissertation. The author has analyzed the "philosophy of the heart" by G. Skovoroda, the philosophical doctrines of Lesia Ukrayinka and the philosophical doctrine of V. Lypinsky in the interpretation of I. Mirchuk as the key concepts of the Ukrainian philosophical thought of the 18th - the early 20th centuries, and has revealed the attitude of I. Mirchuk to the academic philosophy of the 18th-19th centuries. It was determined that I. Mirchuk worked in line with the paradigm of philosophy as an expression of the national worldview, while advocating the idea that every creative work, including philosophical, develops on the basis of its national culture and reveals the characteristic features of the latter. The value of the heritage of I. Mirchuk for the modern world and Ukrainian philosophical science have been shown, and it has been proved that studying the scientific development of the thinker is an important prerequisite for the integration of the national philosophical science into the European scientific discourse.
