Shapenko Y. Improvement of methods of rational organization of the operation of drivers of urban passenger transport

The thesis works focuses upon improvement of the methods of the efficient management of work activity among the public transport drivers. Based on the studies performed, the thesis elaborated the analytical calculation method to determine the municipal bus route complexity according to driver's working intensity which allows to support justification of the methods of timely scheduling of public transport work and to evaluate perspective actions regarding assessment of the transportation services, selection of route schedules, bidding performance and improvement of transportation infrastructure and safety. We improved the method of route complexity determination judging from total energy consumption per drive which makes it possible to give solutions for passengers' transportation planning. A further algorithm of route complexity determination was obtained that unlike the previous ones is based on typification of transport situations of route performance and solving such situations through the sequence of driver's action management.
