Hrygorian O. Substantiation of methodical approaches to psychophysiological selection of industrial workers for hazardous operations.

The dissertation deals with determination of regularities of competency formation in industrial workers for performing hazardous operations, on the basis of studying the professionally significant psychophysiological functions and psychological properties, and their relationship with the health of workers in professions requiring professional selection, within the framework of previous (periodic) medical check-ups and psycho-physiological examination. Natural physiological-hygienic experiment proved that the professional capacity of workers performing hazardous operations is determined by a set of professionally significant psycho-physiological functions and psychological qualities corresponding to the conditions and nature of work, which, in their turn, are directly related to working efficiency and health formation of this group of population. The study allowed to elaborate and implement proprietary computer software for psychophysiological testing "ProfRisk" in order to improve professional selection of industrial workers performing hazardous operations, the author's computer program of "ProfRisk".
