Mykuliak O. Ethnolingual Peculiarities of Intercultural Discourse (based on the German literature of migrants)

The thesis studies ethnolingual peculiarities of intercultural discourse based on the texts of migrant literature written in German, singles out linguocultural markers, namely realia, precedent-setting phenomena and stereotypes, and describes their representation in language and role in expressing national colouring in the texts. Linguo-cultural interference phenomenon takes the prominent place as a cause of communicative failures. The research aims at defining and comprehensively analysing the ethno-lingual peculiarities of intercultural discourse, particularly lingual and linguocultural means of representing ethnocultural information in the German literary works of migrants
