Object of study: state management of conflicts in the interaction of authorities and the public. Purpose: substantiation of the theoretical foundations of the mechanisms of state management of conflicts in the interaction of authorities and the public in Ukraine at the regional level and the development of means to improve them. Methods: systematization, analysis and synthesis, structural and functional, comparative and system analysis, system-analytical. As a result, a theoretical problem has arisen related to the fact that there are independent authorities in the country, including in Ukraine, and in the state in which it is located, and in the state in which it is located, and in the country.
