Object of study: state management of conflicts in the interaction of authorities and the public. Purpose: substantiation of the theoretical foundations of the mechanisms of state management of conflicts in the interaction of authorities and the public in Ukraine at the regional level and the development of means to improve them. Methods: systematization, analysis and synthesis, structural and functional, comparative and system analysis, system-analytical. As a result, a theoretical problem has arisen related to the fact that there are independent authorities in the country, including in Ukraine, and in the state in which it is located, and in the state in which it is located, and in the country. Novelty: a two-tier model of state conflict management in the interaction of authorities and the public at the regional level has been proposed; improved multidimensional regionally oriented approach to government conflict management in the interaction of government and the public in Ukraine; the substantiation of the content and essence of the mechanisms of state conflict management has been improved by defining the specifics of interaction between the authorities and the public in conflict situations and the allocation of a system of state means to prevent and overcome them further developed the characterization of the main problems of state management of conflicts in Ukraine; The conceptual apparatus of the branch of science of public administration was further developed by clarifying the concept of "the mechanism of state management of conflicts in the interaction of authorities and the public."
