The thesis is devoted to the definition of approaches and design tools for creating the exposition space of modern art museums of China. The paper establishes the relationship between the system of concepts traditional for Chinese culture and the means of organizing the exposition environment of modern art museums in China. The ways of rethinking the signs of national identity in the architectural and design decision art museums of China are established. The basic approaches, techniques and means for the spatial organization and design solution of the interiors of art museums are defined and systematized.
