Kohan N. Land-Art in the Context of Modern Landscape Design

In the work the principles of forming of the concept of land-art works as objects of landscape design are defined, the methods of their formation are considered in relation to the materials of their creation. The degree of integration of art-landscapes into the formed landscape structure points defined as "Art- landscape" and "Art-landscapes gallery", is established. The typology of works of land-art and art-landscapes on the basis of temporality is proposed. The concept of protoland-art, the temporary art-landscape is put into use for the first time. The definitions of the terms "land-art", "art-landscape" have been improved. The stages of land-art development in America and Europe have been harmonized and improved. The stages of Ukrainian land-art development were established, its characteristics were enlightened.
