In the dissertation the problem of forming of musical creative potential of teenagers of extracurricular activity of singer is researched. The approaches to this problem in the theory and methods of scientific literature are analyzed; the essence and components of creative potential of person are considered; the definition of the concept "musical creative potential of teenagers" were specified; its content and structure are covered. The research reveals and describes specific of extracurricular activity of singer, the features of its content and organization in the aspect of musical creative potential of teenagers are specified. Specific principles and pedagogical conditions of forming of musical creative potential of teenagers in the process of extracurricular activity of singer are defined; diagnostic tools of confirmatory experiment had worked out; criteria, indexes are proved and levels of formed of the investigated phenomenon by teenagers are defined. The method of forming of musical creative potential of teenagers in the process of extracurricular activity of singer has been experimentally verified. It has been involved by three stages: motivational-informative, cognitive-deepening, creative-modeling. The course and results of the pedagogical experiment have been systematized and generalized; the check and evaluation of the effectiveness of the developed author's methods has been carried out, its effectiveness had proved. The training and methodological materials can be productively used by educators, teachers of musical art and students of the musical specialties of higher education institutions.
