The dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation, development and implementation of advanced rehabilitation programmes, taking into account the continuity of rehabilitation measures on the basis of determining the peculiarities of the course, adaptive potential and application of information systems of elderly patients with primary gonarthrosis (PGA). According to the analysis of the study of the clinical course of the disease, the state of articular and muscular tissue due to X-ray, arthosonographic, reovasographic methods of examination, as well as functional muscle tests, it was established that in the formation of persistent pain syndrome in the outpatient and sanatorium-resort stages of rehabilitation it is essential to have synovitis and muscular disfunction. Elderly patients with PGA, a direct correlation between the pain level for the WAS and the width of the upper spin (r=0.58±0.03) and the direct mean correlation between the pain level for the WASH and the total index WOMAC (r=0.40±0.02) was detected. A differentiated approach was offered in the appointment of rehabilitation programmes for elderly patients with PGA based on an algorithm that defines the content, organization and rehabilitation. Realization of the developed algorithms can be carried out in the web-oriented information system of physical rehabilitation http://projects.tdmu.edu.ua/InfSysPhyReh/ and allows unifying the activities of various medical rehabilitation establishments, ensures the continuity and uninterruption of the rehabilitation stages. Application of the offered information technologies will make it possible to improve the process of medical rehabilitation at elderly patients with PGA, will help to plan the diagnostic, rehabilitation and preventive process more effectively, and will also allow to optimize the medical rehabilitation at all stages and in the inter-rehabilitation period.
