Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental substantiation of the probability and expediency of the use of medicinal product Efial developed according to the new technology, created on the basis of biological raw material – a concentrate of deproteinized dermal layer of pig skin. Based on the biochemical, cytometric, immuno-enzymatic and morphological studies, it was established that the modeling of non-penetrating mechanical corneal trauma is accompanied by the activation of free radical processes with the development of oxidative and nitrooxidative stress, the exhaustion of antioxidant reserves, inhibition of cellular and humoral immunity, and the growth of the degree of endotoxicosis. The corrective influence of the medicinal product created on the basis of biological raw material – the concentrate of the deproteinized dermal layer of the pig skin on the course of non-penetrating corneal damage, which consists in the mechanical reduction of the activity of free radical processes, normalization of the state of the antioxidant system, activation of the cellular and humoral parts of the immune system, reduction of endogenous inothexation.
