Essay

Aesthetic axiology attracted the attention of modern religious philosophers and theologians as a means of legitimizing the Christian worldview before the challenges of the modern era, and then the days of postmodernism. In opposition to ontoteology and nihilism the center of religious axiology pushes the value of beauty, which denotes not only the harmony of the world, but also worthy interpersonal relations. The Christian aesthetic axiology of the 20th century attached great importance to the intuitive aesthetic knowledge and the theories of the symbolic arrangement of the universe. Religious aesthetic axiology at the beginning of the 21st century develops the doctrine of the integrity of aesthetic knowledge and the iconic nature of existence. For today's Christian axiology, the true existence is the relationship of mutual talent. Namely, a person becomes a person only accepting herself as a gift and thanking for this gift. It is the gift of relationships that are beautiful and constituting every beauty. Creativity - God or man, birth, socially responsible act - all these are cases of talent. All these are the moments in which the beauty of existence is manifested most. Modern Christian axiology proves that the connection of religious experience with aesthetic and ethical in a person is not a disadvantage, but a positive point, indicating the presence of a religious one where a person is given in its integrity. Modern Christian axiology opposes the postmodern worldview as nihilism, which is based on the absolute value of the value of the majestic.
