Essay

The dissertation presents the results of the theoretical and empirical study of the process of forming life plans in youth age. The essence of the concept "life plans of the personality of youth age" is determined. Theoretically proved and empirically revealed psychological conditions (the ability of the individual to design meaningful and realistic life goals and plans in all time perspectives, optimism, subjectivity) and age and gender characteristics of the formation of life plans personality in early and late youth. The criteria are set (meaningfulness and realism of life goals and individual plans in the near, distant and long-term perspective; motivation of achievements, locus of control), indicators and levels (high, middle and low) of the investigated process. The psychological model of the formation of life plans in the personality of youth age is constructed. The effectiveness of psychological support for the formation of life plans in the personality of youth age has been developed, tested and proved, which proves the expediency of its introduction into the practice of institutions of general and higher education. Methodical recommendations for psychologists, teachers of general education and teachers of higher education for the purpose of activating the formation of life plans in the personality of youth age are formulated.
