Essay

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical principles and practical measures on improvement of relations between state authorities and political parties of Ukraine in the conditions of development of information society. The dissertation defines essential characteristics of the modern information society, which are as follows: on the technological plane, the dissemination of information technologies and the growth of their role in public life are taking place; in the economic sphere - information and knowledge become the leading resources of the economy; in the social sphere - the quality of life is changing, a new type of social consciousness is being formed - "informational consciousness"; in the political sphere - the possibility of free access to information leads to an increase in public participation in political processes, forming the basis for consensus among different social strata of citizens; from the cultural perspective - the formation of "information culture" contributes to the establishment of values of self-development and self-realization of the individual over material values. The organizational and legal principles of relations between state authorities and political parties in Ukraine are determined in the following directions: legalization of political parties and control over observance of the legislation and the statute by judicial bodies; in the direction of organizing, preparing and holding elections - with the CEC; in the direction of financial control and monitoring of the activities of political parties the main role is played by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
