Zalevska O. Design and art tools of the Ukrainian poster of the postmodern period

The dissertation is devoted to the research of design and artistic means of the Ukrainian posters. The idea of the state of scientific thought is presented, the actual directions and problems of development of the design of the national postmodern poster are revealed. The design and artistic means of expressiveness, characterized by postmodern visual and communicative design practice in general and the Ukrainian poster in particular are characterized. The functions of metaphor, paradox, irony, game are revealed; postmodern techniques of visualization of explicit and potential information are analyzed. The national specificity of the Ukrainian poster postmodern posters is highlighted.
