Korneyeva I. Formation of the professionally oriented English language competence in monologue utterance of future designers.

The thesis is devoted to solving the problem of formation of professional oriented English language competence in monologue utterance (monologue-presentation) of future designers. In the thesis the peculiarities of the professional oriented English language competence formation for the future designer sare defined, which are founded the base of the corresponding Methodology, in particular: the system of exercises for learning the monologue-presentation-report, monologue-presentation-advertising and the model of organization of the process training on their basis; the definition of “monologue-presentation” which is proposed us the target type of monologue utterance of the designers; the typical situations of foreign-language professional communication of the designers are specified (monologue-presentation-report, monologue-presentation-advertising); linguistic analysis of the discourse “monologue-presentation” was conducted; the linguistic peculiarities inherent to the type of monologue utterance were investigated, in particular: the outlined connectors are means of syntactic super-phrased communication, which serve asthe connectivity and logic base of the statement in a foreign language; as the deliberate use of the logical-structural schemes of a monologue, as overcoming the language and psychological barrier with monologue-presentation in English.
