The purpose of the Candidate's thesis is to increase the ecological safety of preserved areas in the conditions of intensifying the influence of natural and anthropogenic processes on them by creating the Ecological Assessment System (EAS) of the natural environment. The object of study is the influence of modern natural and anthropogenic processes on the ecological state of preserved areas. The subject of study is methods, models and ecological assessment system of the natural environment of preserved territories in conditions of natural anthropogenic processes activation. The scientific novelty of the obtained results contains in that the ecological assessment system of natural environment of preserved territories has developed and created. It provides the increasing of ecological safety level in the conditions of natural anthropogenic processes intensification. The information aspects of ecological state assessment process are analyzed. In particular, the information - energy model is developed and the criteria of information optimization of corresponding EAS were formulated on the basis of ensuring the compliance of the EAS information characteristics with specific problems of diagnosing the ecosystem state. The proposed improvement of the mechanism for assessing the ecological state of protected areas is based on using the modern physical methods and perspective information technologies. Subsystems of complex ecological monitoring and geoinformation (GIS) - analysis are the basis of the created EAS. Effects of natural and anthropogenic processes influence on natural complexes of the BR "Shatskyi" have been researched and evaluated using the created EAS. New scientific data and experimental dependencies were obtained that allowed one to evaluate the changes in ecological state of natural environment components within the BR "Shatskyi" as well as the consequences of transformational processes influence on ecological security of this region during 1984- 2017. The Geographic Information Atlas of the BR "Shatskyi" has been developed as practical implementation of the created EAS. This information product uses the information and cartographic materials of the dissertation research, the results of their analysis, conclusions and generalizations. It has been created for permanent informing the specialists and population on state of ecological situation and ecological safety within the Bioreserve territory.
