Havryliuk H. Optimization of the prevention and treatment of patients with posttraumatic osteoarthritis of knee.

The object of study: post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee joints. The aim of the study: to optimize the prevention and comprehensive treatment of post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee in the practice of a family doctor based on the development of a patient-oriented prognostic risk model of disease progression and an optimized therapy program using platelet autologous plasma. Methods: clinical anamnestic; anthropometric; functional; laboratory; instrumental; statistics. Scientific novelty of the results: new scientific data were obtained on the quantitative relationship of the severity of the inflammatory process with the intensity of degradation of articular cartilage, and the most significant risk factors affecting the formation and progression of post-traumatic osteoarthritis have been established. Based on the results obtained, a patient-oriented prognostic model for calculating the risk of progression of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. The original method of treating patients with post-traumatic osteoarthritis and knee injury with the addition of three intraarticular injections of platelet autologous plasma.
