Stepanenko O. Lustration as a form of change of the political elite

Object - the phenomenon of lustration as a socio-political phenomenon in the Ukrainian state; purpose - to study the process of lustration as a condition for changing the political elite and to analyze the system of implementation and regulation of lustration in Ukrainian politics; methods - system, comparatively legal, behavioral; novelty - it is suggested to consider the process of lustration as a form of change of the political elite, fight against corruption and other destabilizing processes in the politics of modern Ukraine, as well as the main lever on the way to democratic transformations; results - studies can form an instrumental-analytical and consultative-technological basis for expert-research work of political analysts; in the educational process in teaching such disciplines as "Political science", "Political sociology", "General theory of politics"
