The purpose of the work is to determine the personal factors of adaptation for the students of the medical college, and to develop on this basis a set of measures aimed at increasing their adaptability to education. The results are based on data from a longitudinal study involving 176 students of a medical college for two years (from the beginning of the first year to the end of the second year). A total of 6 series of studies have been conducted (at the beginning of each academic year and before the beginning of each of the two sessions). In the work: - the substantiated research model of the study of personal factors of adaptation of training in medical college, which provides for the allocation of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of adaptation, taking into account external and internal factors; - determined the peculiarities of the dynamics of adaptation to the students of the medical college, gender characteristics of the diagnostic indicators of their personal qualities and adaptability to education; - determined an analysis of the interrelations between adaptation indicators and individual psychological peculiarities of the students of the medical college is carried out; the main personal factors of their successful adaptation to the study; - found out that the most informative personal factors of adaptation for the students of the medical college are three indicators of internality (internality in the field of failures; in relation to health and disease; general internality), and 6 indicators derived from the methodology of diagnosis of mental development (confidence in self-control, sociability, expressiveness, diplomacy and intelligence).
