Essay

The dissertation contains theoretical basis and offers a practical solution to a scientific problem - improving the results of surgical treatment of patients with post-burn esophageal strictures by optimal correction of nutritional status before the intervention and radical individualization of surgical methods to minimize postoperative complications. Carrying enteral nutrition using isoperistaltic gastrostomy in patients of the main group allowed to receive a significant increase in all analyzed indicators of nutritional status compared with those of comparison group treated with total parenteral nutrition. Researche shows that the use of the proposed method of forming of modified isoperistaltic gastrostomy and correction of nutritional status of patients is an effective method. In a comparative analysis revealed a statistically significant difference in the level of complications related to surgical intervention in the basic 9.3% and 29.5% of the comparison group. The quality of the life of patients of the main group during late postoperative period was significantly higher compared with the comparison group of the patients. Developed and implemented tactics of treatment allows more efficient to prepare the patients to the next stage of surgical treatment - reconstructive surgery.
