The paper presents a solution to the urgent clinical task of modern anesthesiology - improving the effectiveness of treatment of patients with surgical aortic pathology by developing methods for the prevention of cerebral complications during anesthesia and intensive care in the perioperative period. The basis of this study is the analysis of the results of a comprehensive clinical and instrumental and laboratory study in the dynamics of hemodynamic, immunohistochemical, neuropsychological markers and the effectiveness of the proposed method of prevention and treatment in a cohort prospective randomized simple open clinical study in 118 patients with aortic surgical pathology for a period of 1 days to 1 month from the date of surgery, who were treated on the base of the department of surgical treatment of aortic pathology of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery 18
