Essay

Object: the process of applying the personnel leadership influence on subordinates in management of engineering enterprises. Purpose: generalization of scientific and methodological foundations, applied tools and means of building and development of leadership competencies of engineering enterprises’ personnel. Research methods: a system and comparative analysis, theoretical generalization, graphic method, statistical analysis and expert survey, grouping method, logical analysis, systematization and classification. Improved areas: a scientific and methodological approach to the assessment of leadership competencies of engineering enterprises’ personnel, which provides for the determination of leadership influence on the performance efficiency of the enterprise’s personnel; a methodological approach to the development of the program for building and development of leadership competencies of engineering enterprises’ personnel based on distinguishing the stages of a complex process, which provides for its development and implementation within the organizational culture; classification of the factors that affect the formation of personnel leadership competencies under current conditions; criteria for assessing leadership competencies, which are divided into two groups, given the process of their building (analysis, assessment of dynamics and diagnostics of their efficiency) and application (analysis of the leadership competencies built, assessment of the leadership competencies influence on the personnel performance efficiency and consideration of strategic directions of the enterprise’s development); Areas, further developed: theoretical aspects of leadership competencies, in particular, the essential characteristics of the concepts of “leadership”, “leadership competencies”, “leadership influence” were clarified; tools for development of leadership competencies of engineering enterprises’ personnel through development and implementation of appropriate strategies; a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the leadership influence on the performance efficiency of engineering enterprises’ personnel, which provides for the calculation of the integral index.
