The object is political communication during the period of democratic transit. The purpose is to establish the peculiarities of the image political communication strategies as a mechanism of anti-crisis stabilization of transitive political systems. Methods – system and structural-functional methods, neoinstitutional approach, comparative analysis, method of retrospective reconstruction. The importance of the strategy of image political communication as a procedure for determining the political goals of the image messages broadcasting with means of political communication is established. The essence of the predictive element of the image political and communication campaign strategy is determined. The optimal algorithm of the strategic model of the image political communication campaign is presented. The conceptual substantiation of strategic coordination of political and communication support of democratic reforms in the conditions of information influence of foreign states is developed.
