Essay

The thesis is devoted to research into the possibility of using micro and nanomaterials in order to develop new and improve existing electrochemical sensors. The paper shows the possibility of using zeolites in the composition of electrochemical enzyme biosensors used for direct determination of substrates, and proposed a new method for immobilizing biological material - adsorption of enzymes on electrochemical converters modified by zeolites. The method of applying PFD membranes on platinum disk electrodes has been optimized in order to improve the selectivity of the amperometric transducer. It is shown that due to the membrane applied to the surface of the PFD, the biosensor does not show sensitivity to a number of electroactive substances, which significantly increases the accuracy of biosensor analysis when working with samples of biological fluids. A conductometric chemosensor for the selective determination of arginine on the basis of a calixarenic membrane was developed, its main analytical characteristics were described and compared with the parameters of the two enzyme biosensor. The possibility of using each of these sensors for the semi-selective determination of arginine, as well as an element of a multi-sensor for the determination of amino acids, is shown. The existing laboratory prototypes of electrochemical sensors based on micro- and nanosized materials were manufactured and the possibility of their work with real samples was demonstrated.
