Bryl M. Performance-based approach to rural territories development

The present thesis generalizes theoretic researches, national and European experience on performance-based approach to rural territories development in order to define possibilities for their adapting in Ukraine. Aspects for rural territories development and introducing performance-based approach in public administration were analysed by various national and international scientists. But difference in definitions of the key notions of our research is observed. It is suggested to introduce definitions for “performance-based approach to rural territories development” and “rural territory”. The current experience on performance-based approach to rural territories development of European countries and that of European international organisations has been generalized.
