Blikhar M. Spiritual values of the young students in modern Ukrainian society.

The dissertation is devoted to the research of spiritual values of student-age youth in conditions of modern Ukrainian society. The systematization of the basic conceptual approaches in understanding and interpreting values in socio-humanities sciences, including in sociology was put into practice on basis of the multiparadigmal approach and proceeding from the structuralist perspective. There were considered the place and role of value problematics when considering globalization and transformational process. There was described the concept of «spirituality» and its importance for further study of spiritual values in the personal, group, activity-normative, worldview and civilizational-cultural levels. There was suggested the author’s definition and typology of spiritual values, method of their applied research in the structure of worldview orientations of student-age youth. At the empirical level the was determined the system of factors influencing the development of spiritual values in «the environment of a higher educational institution – the teacher (curator) – the student» relations. A number of measures have been proposed to increase the level of development of the spiritual component of modern student-age youth in educational work.
