Reva M. The geological and economic assessment of produced waters of oil and gas fields of Eastern oil and gas field region of Ukraine as a valuable hydro-mineral raw material

The dissertation defines the produced waters of oil and gas fields of Eastern oil and gas region of Ukraine as a valuable hydro-mineral raw material. The paper analyses geochemical features of these waters firstly for its micro-component composition. The paper defines that according to the concentration of Iodine, Bromine and Magnesium the produced waters of studied region are of great economic value. The author defines the main criteria and factors that must be taken into account while conducting geological and economic assessment of produced waters as a hydro-mineral raw material. Based on the results of the study the approach for methodology of calculation of resources of valuable components in produced waters was suggested on the example of Lelyaky field. The result of the research shows a change in the classification code of resources of valuable components in produced waters in accordance with the instructions of the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Resources. The most efficient technology of extraction of valuable components from produced waters was selected and the cost of its use was calculated according to the market prices of Ukraine. Based on chosen technology the author calculated the cost of the components that can be extracted from produced waters of Lelyaky, Chutiv and Kobziv fields.
