Babii I. Comparative assessment of alloplastic surgical methods in the treatment of inguinal hernia

Object – complicated and uncomplicated inguinal hernia; goal – improve the consequences (quality of life) of surgical treatment of patients with inguinal hernia by individualizing the choice of the method of plastic repair of the hernia defect of the inguinal hernia, taking into account the features of body type and phenotypic signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia; methods – anthropometric, macroscopic, histological, ultrasound, clinical, determining the quality of life of patients, statistical analysis; results – for the first time a new method of surgical treatment of patients with inguinal hernia was developed and substantiated; indications and contraindications to the use of open author's preperitoneal aloplasty of the inguinal hernial defect; for the first time the features of the operative technique of open author preperitoneal aloplasty of the hernial defect, possible errors and complications were highlighted; for the first time, the consequences of surgical treatment of patients with inguinal hernia were studied and compared using I.L. Lichtenstein and open author preperitoneal aloplasty of the hernial defect; scientific data on the features of body type in patients with inguinal hernia are added compared with the size of the hernial defect; for the first time, morphological features of the structures of the connective tissue of the transverse fascia of the inguinal gap in patients with inguinal hernia were studied; for the first time, the “quality of life” of the treated patients after the open author's preperitoneal aloplasty of the hernial defect was evaluated; branch – medicine.
