Zhuvaka S. Historico-legal analysis of the functions of Prosecution Service of Ukraine

The thesis is one of first comprehensive research where on the basis of in-depth research study of scientific literature, review of statutory regulations, archival documents and materials and other sources previously unknown to historico-legal science it was made a historico-legal analysis of the functions of Prosecution Service of Ukraine. The origin and peculiarities of the supervising of compliance and application of customs, generally binding rules under existence of Scythian early state groups and ancient states; Old Russian experience of prosecution and representing the Government in the court and its dissemination within the Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia, Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Poland (Rzeczpospolita) and also during the time of existence of Zaporizhian Sich and Ukrainian Cossack State; Prosecution Service functional activity in Ukraine at the end of XVIII – beginning of XX century; during the Ukrainian revolution of 1917-1921 and Ukrainian sovereignty assertion.
