A comparative analysis of methods and means of precision measurements of high DC voltage is carried out. The differential method for measuring high DC voltage in the range from 1 kV to 180 kV has been improved. Precision voltage sources constructed on the basis of AC voltage conversion of 50 Hz were investigated and a method for increasing the accuracy of measuring and reproducing a unit of DC voltage was proposed by reducing the pulsations of the rectified high DC voltage. The construction and influence of the electrical parameters of precision stabilizers on the accuracy of the measurement and reproduction of the unit of DC voltage with the highest precision standards based on the differential measurement method (hereinafter - precision differential meters) in the range of high DC voltage from 1 kV to 180 kV is investigated. The structure of construction of precision differential meters has been determined to improve accuracy and improve measurement discreteness in the range from 10 kV to 180 kV of State primary standard of DC voltage in the range from 1 kV to 180 kV. (hereinafter - the State standard). The equivalence of precision measurements of high DC voltage in the range from 1 kV to 180 kV is estimated and ensured in Ukraine. The analysis of existing methods of calibration of precision instruments for measuring high DC voltage on the State Standard has been analyzed, as well as sources of uncertainty of measurements due to the influence of the real conditions of their operation have been determined and estimated. A group expert assessment of the involved experts of metrologists on the measurement of high DC voltage and the state of the metrological support of high DC voltage measurements was conducted.
