Essay

The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that the thesis is one of the first studies in Ukraine on the legal regulation of the economic activities of private healthcare institutions. The paper clarified the definition of «private health care institution». A private health care institution is a business entity created and registered in accordance with the procedure established by law, the main purpose of which is to provide medical and pharmaceutical assistance on a paid basis and to make a profit in the process of ensuring the quality of public health services on the basis of highly qualified and professional activities of medical workers. The work improved the definition of the concept of «private (non-state) clinic». Based on the analysis of the medical sphere of economically developed countries, changes in the medical sphere of Ukraine were proposed. Thus, the corresponding analysis in the UK allowed to make a proposal on the state incentives for business entities that will enter into tripartite relations with insurers, private and public health institutions
