Provotorov A. Criminal law measures against legal entities as an institution of criminal law of Ukraine

The dissertation is a complex study of the problems of application of criminal-legal measures against legal entities, which made it possible to determine effective ways to solve practical problems aimed at improving the criminal legislation of Ukraine. In the first chapter, devoted to the theoretical basis of the study of the problem of the application of criminal-law measures against legal entities, it was established that Ukraine as a subject of international relations ratified a number of agreements, which contain rules on the appropriateness of introducing liability of legal entities into Ukrainian legislation. Ukraine has chosen the model of quasi-criminal liability of legal entities, providing for the application of criminal-law measures against a legal entity for the commission by its authorized person on behalf and (or) in the interests of a legal person of a crime as defined in art. 96-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
