Cherednyk N. Intellectual property rights in research universities.

The importance of the work is it's being the first complex monographic research in the field of theoretical and practical issues of research universities’ intellectual property rights identification and the agreements in the field of its realization and providing recommendations concerning civil legislation improvement, which will result in research universities’ development in Ukraine. The author analyses the research university term and the criteria that high educational settings are obliged to meet to receive the status in accordance with foreign experience and Ukrainian legislation. The improved term of the research university and the criteria’s is provided, outlined its peculiarities as the intellectual property subject. Innovation infrastructure of research university term and specific features are investigated. The specifics of intellectual property in research universities under Ukrainian law, such as the list of objects which may be obtained by the university through cooperation with private persons and legal entities.
