The thesis is devoted to applied scientific research of national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry through the developing and theoretically justification of methodological and practical recommendations for the abovementioned problem and through ensuring the effective functioning of the national economy of Ukraine. Urgency of the research is confirmed by results of the analysis of the current state, main trends and performance indicators of the functioning and development of service industry in the system of national economy; and by research of the characteristics and the specific of national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry, including hospitality establishments; their conceptual changes. In the first section «Theoretical and methodological aspects of the national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry» the theoretical aspects of the formation of the state strategy of change management are systematized and generalized, the importance of the systematicity and integrity of the conceptual approaches to this problem is substantiated. The situation on the improvement of the principles and parameters of the methodological tools classification of change management has been generalized and developed. Own classification of models for managing changes in structure and content is based on phased models and service-oriented models. The unified classification of change management methods is developed and presented: custom-oriented methods, work-oriented methods and market-oriented methods. The peculiarities of theoretical and methodological approaches and practical aspects of the activity of foreign corporations in restaurant business are analyzed and a comparative analysis of the degree and opportunity of their resource utilization in the practice of Ukrainian enterprises is conducted. The second section «Practical principles of the national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry of Ukraine» have done the practice-oriented strategic analysis of key determinants of the formation of the national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry, including hotel and restaurant business, in the context of the current system of national economy and state regulation of business processes of Ukrainian market. The key macroeconomic indicators for the research of the state and trends of the service sector development in the national economy system have been determined. The macroeconomic analysis of the state and main trends of the service sector in the last six years (2012-2017) has been carried out. A SWOT analysis of the service sector was conducted through the design of the matrix of the relationship between its capabilities, potential threats, strengths and weaknesses. The trends of the hotel and restaurant business industry development in the period of 2012-2017 are determined. The analysis of the correlation of existing state programs (strategies, directions, plans) with the types of economic activities defined in the Classifier of the industries of the sphere of services is determined. The unstructured, poorly structured and well structured problems of functioning of the services sector in the context of each branch are singled out and summarized. The matrix of the correspondence of indicators of economic growth with the system of strategic management of change and innovative development of the leading countries of the world was constructed. The third section «Practical principles of the national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry of Ukraine» is devoted to recommendation provisions of national strategy development of Change Management in the service industry, including the hotel and restaurant business. The own interpretation of the categories «change management of the service sector» and «change management of the hotel and restaurant business» was revealed and substantiated. The conceptual vision of the structure-logical scheme of the Complex State Program for Strategic Development of the Service sector is presented. The own conceptual model of change management of hotel and restaurant business is developed and substantiated. The process of adaptation of the theory of change management model of hospitality developed during different periods of formation has been simulated. The adaptive methodological model of change management of hotel and restaurant business has been improved. Reengineering of the integrated instruments of change management strategy of hotel and restaurant business based on five interrelated logically structured concepts, integrated by a single strategic and target orientation, while forming five separate instruments for ensuring the process of implementing changes are developed and substantiated.
