Оbject: mobile housing: traditional forms and modern functional-planning types; goal: to develop basic principles and practical recommendations creation of mobile housing on the basis of fractal shaping; methods: the research methodology is based on the integrated approach - application of general scientific and applied methods; novelty: for the first time a complex analysis of the historical genesis of the formation of mobile residential objects was conducted; the ambiguity of the modern term "mobile housing" in different regions of the world is revealed; the main functional-typological varieties of mobile housing are highlighted; the use of methods of fractal geometry was proposed; the basic principles of the volume-planning organization of mobile housing on the basis of fractality are formulated; еxisting regulatory and legal documentation has been improved and a conceptual-terminology apparatus in the field of mobile housing design in Ukraine; сonceptual volumetric planning model of mobile housing for recreational and tourist use was developed; results: a new approach to the problem of volumetric planning of mobile housing; application of methods and methods of analysis of the current state of the mobile housing industry in making project decisions in order to form a harmonious, comfortable environment; the implementation of the basic provisions of scientific work in the educational process; the degree of implementation: architectural design; branch: architecture.
