Pylypenko Y. Social temporality of regional conflicts (on the example of a military conflict in the East of Ukraine: 2014–2019)

The thesis analyzes the social temporality of regional conflicts. Social temporality is considered as a condition for the existence of social processes. The basic characteristics of the regional conflict are determined. The structure of regional and global conflicts as synchrony, and the stages of the conflict as a diachrony are considered. It is established that depending on intensity of it’s course, the conflict is divided into military conflict, armed conflict, war and hybrid war. The system of social indicators and indexes of social temporality of regional and global conflicts is developed. Based on the results of empirical studies, the interpretation of the conflict in the East of Ukraine was clarified. The social temporality of the conflict in the East of Ukraine is researched. The main scenarios of the regional conflict settlement in the East of Ukraine to the global scale are determined.
