Essay

The dissertation for the degree of candidate of geological sciences on specialty 21.06.01 – ecological safety. – State Institution "Institute of Environmental Geochemistry, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", Kyiv, 2017. The ultimate goal of the work was to improve the monitoring system and systematization of evaluation of research of salt karst in terms of the Precarpathian Basin of salt deposit and highlight the main lines of approach of their studies. For this purpose, based on analysis of published data and fieldwork were gathered together all the known and unrenowned until now the facts that have impacts on the development of salt karst. As a result, of the study evidences and analytical works found new and confirmed the known laws of space-time development of karst, its dependence on natural and manmade impacts. There are, revealed facts that have affect on the formation of geological structural elements of the geological environment that emerged from the directed action of natural karst of Precarpathians. The study confirmed the crucial dependence of space-time development of karst from geological structure. Investigations showed that space spreading of salt karst is a complex multi-system process where all components have a significant impact on the result and directly related one with another. In each case, activation of salt karst or predicting of the development of this process it is necessary an integrated syngenetic analysis and systematization of all the conditions and factors that may have an impact on it. Collected and systematized materials, and new research data will help in the planning and execution geo-ecological surveys, development of various kinds of environmental activities or planning of activity forecast of exogenous geological processes in areas where there are potential or already the developing of salt karst. Keywords: salt karst, exogenous geological processes, impact factors, geological structure, geo-ecological monitoring, human impacts, Precarpathians
