Lozynskyi V. Geoinformational monitoring of municipal solid waste landfills

The thesis is devoted to the substantiation of the theoretical and methodological foundations for conducting geoinformational monitoring of waste disposal sites of functioning urban systems and its approbation on the example of the Lviv city MSW landfill site. An integrated approach to the maintenance of geoinformational monitoring of such objects has been developed, covering all periods of the functioning of the MSW landfill. Technology was developed for conducting geo-information monitoring of the dynamics of the operation of LCL, which provides for the application of an integrated approach using archival aero- and cartographic materials. A universal method for determining the volume of waste disposal facilities using archival cartographic materials and UAV survey materials was developed and tested. Technique was developed for estimating the accuracy of calculating the volume of a landfill body and ravines using a quadrature formula. The technology of geodetic monitoring of landslide areas of waste sposal facilities was developed.
