Essay

The object of research is the process of managing freight rail transport. The research was carried out using methods of mathematical statistics and probability theory, methods of constructing fuzzy inference systems, Bayesian networks, multipurpose and combinatorial optimization, genetic algorithms, marginal utility. As a result of the research, the scientific task of forming an automated technology for managing the work of yard stations is solved, which allows simultaneously to solve technological problems and tasks of risk management in conditions of transportation of dangerous goods. The scope of application is rail transport of general use.
