Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the scientific justification of the regularities of ore flocculation units and aggregates disintegration under the magnetic-flotation enrichment of magnetite quartzite due to the use of a combination of high power ultrasound in cavitational mode and pulsed magnetic field of descending tension. Increasing the contrast of the technological properties of the ore and non-metallic minerals of finely dispersed and very finely dispersed magnetite quartzite of Kremenchuh iron ore region and improving the quality of magnetite concentrates are based on the formation of a clean surface of mineral particles under the disintegration of ore floccules and micron technogenic intergrown pieces formed as a result of adhesion interactions in force hydrodynamic, physical and magnetic fields, as a result of a mutual nonselective coating of magnetite’s grains, quartz and silicates of finely-dispersed ore minerals particles in size 0,001–0,005 mm. The technology of the magnetite concentrate flotation at PJSC «Poltava GOK» is improved. According to the improved magnetite concentrate flotation technology the output of the commercial concentrate is increased by 2.37-4.0% and the total iron extraction in the concentrate is 3.25-3.45% due to the cleaning of the surface of the ore and non-metallic particles from sticking before flotation.
