The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific problem of establishing the regularities linking the efficiency of the enrichment and classification of raw materials of inhomogeneous carbonate deposits with its initial characteristics, technological and constructive parameters of classification equipment, justification on this basis of rational modes of sifting. The general approach to the enrichment of raw materials, which consists in the separation of clay coverings from the rocks of a rock with the subsequent high-effective shaving of a product in career conditions by means of roll-and-pinion rumbling (including conditions of high moisture content of raw materials) is determined. New analytical dependencies were obtained, linking the parameters of the enrichment efficiency with the results of granulometric and chemical analysis of the raw material, as well as the efficiency of its sieve. The method of calculating the rational value of the size of the separation of material subject to classification is developed. On its basis, an algorithm for calculating the efficiency of enrichment is created. The indexes of efficiency of scoring and enrichment processes in the variants of classification with a roll-and-thumb drive and without its use are compared. It is proved that the use of a roller-thumb drive stabilizes the classification process, and increases enrichment efficiency by 10-20%.
