In the dissertation, through a comprehensive analysis of normative legal and legislative acts, archival materials, as well as scientific theoretical studies, a comprehensive historical and legal analysis of criminal justice in the USSR in the postwar period (1945-1958) was carried out. The political and legal concepts and approaches to the formation and formation of the institute of criminal justice in the post-war period are revealed based on a comprehensive analysis of archival materials, legal positions and normative-legal act of the investigated period.
