Essay

The scientific novelty of the research consists in theoretical grounding and experimental examination of methodology of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English. The object of the research is the process of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of Masters, prospective teacher trainees majoring in English. The subject of the research is the methodology of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence The aim of the research consists in scientific and theoretical grounding and elaboration of the methodology of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of Masters, prospective teacher trainees majoring in English and experimental validation of its effectiveness. The practical importance of the obtained results lies in: selection of teaching materials,information and communication technologies, elaboration of the sets of exercises and assignments, development of the recommendations for English language teachers on the integrated formation of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English. It has been found out that the integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English should proceed on the principles of communicative, socio-cognitive and integrated approaches. The content of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English in unity of objective and procedural aspects has been clarified. The selection criteria of learning material (printed and electronictexts, phonograms and digital-video recordings) have been grounded. Moreover, along with the defined selection criteria of information and communication technologies it has been stressed on the suitability of using such services and programmes as YouTube, Google Hangouts, Google Classroom, Skypeforbuilding professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence. The three stages of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English have been outlined and the system of exercises and assignments, which corresponds to the outlined stages has been suggested. Both linguo-didactic and thematic and timemodels of integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English have been designed. The evaluation criteria of levels of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English and their quantitative indicators have been elaborated. The findings of the experimental teaching under research revealed the following extra factors of its effectiveness: the application of webquest as a productive technology of building targeted competences; interdependency of increase of levels of acquisition of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence. The methodological recommendations for English language teachers on integrated building of professionally oriented speaking competence and information-communicative competence of prospective teacher trainees majoring in English have been presented.
