Object – early wound postoperative complications in elderly and senile patients after operations on the anterior abdominal wall and abdominal organs; goal – іmproving the results of complex treatment of wound postoperative complications of the anterior abdominal wall in elderly and senile patients by local application of magnesium-containing minerals; methods – clinical, laboratory, ultrasound, bacteriological, cytological; results – іn the work, the effect of magnesium-containing minerals on the course of the inflammatory process during wound postoperative complications of the anterior abdominal wall in elderly and senile patients was first studied; for the first time, a comparison was made of the traditional methodology for treating wound complications of the anterior abdominal wall in elderly and senile patients using solutions of magnesium-containing minerals and the need for alternative, preferably natural, conservative therapy was found; for the first time studied the results of introducing into clinical practice the methods of using magnesium-containing minerals in the treatment of wound postoperative complications of the anterior abdominal wall in elderly and senile patients; branch – medicine.
