The thesis deals with theoretical substantiation and practical elaboration of the methodology for the professionally oriented English reading competency formation with the help of electronic case to future managers. The scientific novelty of obtained results is: firstly the model for electronic forming professionally oriented English reading competency to manager students, criteria and standards for evaluation of formed professionally oriented English reading competency have been designed; the content and genres of English professionally oriented texts to manager students have been specified; principles of the use of educational, administrative and communicative tools in electronic virtual case got further development. The thesis addresses electronic learning as an individualized process of acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities of professionally oriented English reading competency by manager students, which takes place indirectly through the interaction of distant participants in the educational process in a specialized environment that functions on the basis of modern psycho-pedagogical and information and communication technologies. The research proves that among the available online technologies today, in the case of electronic virtual learning of professionally oriented English reading, the advantage should be given to learning management systems, in particular electronic case.
