Essay

The thesis research includes a complex scientific synthesis of sources and historiography of the problem of dynamics of legal ideology content in historical retrospect, enabling to find out that the historical evolution of the Ukrainian legal paradigm from early eighteenth century till the present has laid the fundamental bedrock for a national constitutional model, which combines both world standards of democratic law-making procedure and determinative features of Ukrainians’ legal mentality. The analysis of determinative historical stages of Ukrainian law-making, performed in this thesis, has clearly shown the evolutionary nature of national constitutional acts with respect to the challenges of a particular historical epoch from early eighteenth century till the present, and at the same time - their permanent meaningful ideological content, provoked by need in preserving national identity and political independence.
