Dorokhin D. Criminological characteristics and prevention of religious extremism

The dissertation deals with the theoretical principles and scientifically substantiated recommendations for the prevention of religious extremism in Ukraine. The degree of scientific development of these problems is investigated, the works of scientists who have become the theoretical basis of the dissertation research are analyzed. The condition, structure and dynamics of crimes of religious extremist orientation, the criminological characteristics of the person committing crimes of the specified category, and the main reasons and conditions influencing their commission are determined. The general social, special criminological and individual measures for the prevention of religious extremism in Ukraine are covered. The proposals to improve measures to prevent religious extremism in Ukraine have been made.
