The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of theoretical-methodological principles of consultative-advisory participation of the public in public policy making. The essence of consultative participation of the public and advisory participation of the public was explored and the necessity of distinguishing these types of participation as public administration institutions, which perform different roles in the process of public policy making, was substantiated.
