Basaraba R. Pharmacognostic investigation of Antennaria dioica for the purpose to make new medicinal agents

For the first time, a comprehensive pharmacognostic study of a herb of a valuable medicinal plant from the family Asteraceae - cat's legs of dioecious (Antennaria dioica (L.) Gaertn.). The investigated raw materials have a qualitative composition and quantitative content of amino acids, polysaccharides, organic acids, including ascorbic, lipophilic compounds (chlorophylls and carotenoids, fatty acids), volatile compounds, substances of phenolic nature (hydroxycorino acids, hydroxycorinic acids, hydroxycorinic acids, hydrocyanic acids, hydroxycorinates as well as macro and microelements. For the first time, a systematic morphological and anatomical study of cat legs of dioecious herbs was performed, their main macro- and microscopic diagnostic features were established. The technology of preparation of substance - dry extract from cat's legs of dioecious herbs, for which safety and pharmacological action is determined, has been developed. According to acute toxicity study, the tested extract according to KK Sidorov's classification can be attributed to the sixth grade of toxicity - relatively harmless substances, LD50 5000 mg / kg. Choleretic and hepatoprotective activity of cat legs of dioecious herbs of dry extract at a dose of 50 mg / kg were determined. The draft methods of quality control methods "Cat's legs of dioecious grass" and "Cat's feet of dioecious grass extract dry" have been developed.
